Everything you need for a Fun Festival Makeup Look

Festival season is here and I actually got to attend one this year! Today I'm sharing all of my makeup product essentials for achieving a super fun (and pink) festival look!

This palette is so pretty - filled with nude brightening matte and microshimmer shades that are perfect for just about any look. I loved incorporating this palette into my super sparkly look.

Tiny Gems

What is a festival look without rhinestone gems? I love these for placing around the eyes and over the eyebrows! I picked these up in the nail art section at Sally Beauty Supply.

Lash Glue

Since festivals last a long time, and there is a lot of movement (dancing) involved, I used lash glue to secure my gems. It helped them stay on pretty much all day (I only lost 1/12)!

Holographic Lip Gloss

I love festival makeup because you can be as extra as you want to be - and this includes a holographic glitter lip (duh!) I am currently obsessed with Lime Crime's Diamond Crushers' in "Choke"

Did I ever mention how much I love glitter? I put this all over my eyes, cheeks, arms, and décolletage.

Glitter primer

As we are using glitter (and want it to last all day) go ahead and apply a glitter primer before! I love this one by NYX

Benefit has two highlighters that I love - Watt's up and High Beam. They add the perfect glow to a festival makeup look under all that glitter!

And here was the final look!

Hope you enjoyed today's post and thanks for reading!

  1. Blue mercury has swept nearly half the nation, opening stores in 20 states across the country. But according to Beck, like the best ideas, the industry juggernaut’s origins were nothing more than a simple aha moment he experienced while passing an independent beauty boutique on a stroll of his neighborhood http://www.globalretailingconference.org/speakers/barryBeck.html ….…...
